Hard French 5th Anniversary (March 7th, 2015, El Rio, San Francisco):
I’ll be spinning alongside DJ Wambam Ashleyanne of KALX, DJ Paul Paul Costuros of Elbo Room’s Soul Night, DJ Bus Station John (The Original Disco Daddy of San Francisco) and your perennial party providers Brown Amy and DJ Carnita (Tom Temprano). Doors open at 2 pm, cover charge $8.
Queer Astrology Soiree – An Opening Night Fete (March 20th, 2015, 7:30 – 10:00 pm, CIIS Room 607-Rooftop Lounge, San Francisco).
Friday Night, Pisces Eclipse, Spring Equinox, what does it all mean? It means that you spend your early evening with the most radical of Queer Astrologers in a meet and greet with free food, drink and socializing with smooth soul music provided by yours truly wafting in the background.
I can’t guarantee that wonderful Oakland Astrologer Ian Waisler will cha-cha with crocheted brains on his head, but… well. Maybe if *you* encourage him.
Huzzah! My first ever public lecture! I’ll be facilitating a multi-media presentation on African American Women in Popular Music during the 1960’s, culminating with the Uranus-Pluto Conjunction in Virgo years between 1965-66. Greek to your ears? Come on down and let me break it down for you!
