It’s rapidly approaching the end of the year. Can you believe 2015 is on the way out? As the year entered I was celebrating turns at some of my favorite happenings and venues, and ending this year shall be no different.
I’ll first see you on the dance floor as one of the Juggalicious Dance Babes at Hard French’s Season Closer Saturday, November 7th. Doors open at 2 pm, there’s free burgers and potato salad and dancing for all! Be sure you get in where you fit in at San Francisco’s best Queer Day Party as they close out their 5th season of bringing sizzling good times enough to keep you warm through the winter.
Next up, I’ll be returning as the honored Special Guest DJ for Sugartown Queer Soul Shindig’s Annual Sno-Ball! This is my favorite gig to play, and joyfully make the trek to Portland to spin some singles to deck your halls with soulful cheer once again this year. The first Saturday in September will be full of merriment, Motown and maybe a present or two for you. Find yourself decked out in your finest on Saturday, December 5th (My Half Birthday!) at 9 pm at the wonderful Spare Room in Northeast Portland.
Last but decidedly not least, ‘Twas 7 days before Christmas and I’ll be telling a story of another one of my favorite records at Phonographic Memory. It’ll stay a mystery, your early Christmas Gift until then, but make sure to mark Wednesday, December 16th as an evening to take in warm Cocoa, a few holiday cookies and some carols of a different variety at Bernal Heights Library starting at 7:00 pm. We’re delighted to have you.
